Whats going on at UCUMC this week?

2011 BACKPACK DRIVE

It’s that time – time to help children in ministries we support by supplying backpacks and school supplies. Here are the details:
2011 Goal: 400 Backpacks
(Note: We buy them with school supplies included)
Ministries to receive backpacks: 
Christ to the Nations Church (200); Hope Foundation (150);
The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home (50)
Envelopes will be provided for your contribution, or you may give online. (Specify “Backpacks” in the description line.)
Deadline: July 31.

What might you be asked about?

Celebrate Recovery is having an amazing spiritual event!  Our sermons have been about recovery and the many levels of healing.  These wonderful sermons will lead to an event open to everyone.  Let everyone know!

Since the fall is coming you have a great deal to share with visitors.  How about inviting them to Financial Peace University!  An amazing class about finding financial peace!

             Our coffee cart crew needs your help!

Can you take on one weekend to come set up the coffee cart?  We all know how wonderful it is to have a place to have fellowship over a cup of coffee or lemonade.  We can enjoy it because of several wonderful people who share this responsibility.  Due to some changes in their schedule a few of those people can no longer help out.  Please help keep this group going!  Contact me if you can lend a hand! pattithue@ucumc.net
