A whole lotta changes going on!

Yes...this is our church lobby!  I wanted to give you all a little sneak peak as to the changes that are going on to keep our church vibrant and inviting! 

The carpeting is being replaced, the walls are freshly painted, the lighting in the lobby is updated.  Think 'classy'!  With just few changes it's really looking great!

We all know the wear and tear carpet gets in a lobby! 

I got them just as they were putting the new carpet down in the Saunctuary!


See how exciting it is to be part of Hospitality?  You get sneak peaks and behind the scenes information on everything going on at UCUMC!  I figured you wonderful people would truly appreciate all thats going on because you love this church as much as I do and enjoy seeing it get a little love and tender care!

So whats going on that you need to know about this weekend????
LOTS!
With Fall coming we have a perfect opportunity to invite and share so many wonderful events with our new visitors!  Do they have Teens?  Invite them to The Last Nights of Summer event hosted by EPIC!  Do they want to explore membership?  Tell them about our Membership Exploration Brunch coming up!  Do they want to start a Bible Study? GREAT!  We have some great studies starting up!  In order to help guide everyone to what they need, please take a few minutes to click on the events below to get details!

Community Updates

COMMUNICATION CARDS
There has been some confusion going on with the blue and white communication cards.  On Monday mornings they are sometimes being found in Volunteer Central.  They should always be placed in the office with the money after collection.  If you are ushering at the 11:30, please make sure that all the offering box's are checked and any cards that are found are put in the office as well.  If you have any questions at all please let myself or someone at the front desk in the lobby know and we can help you.

INVITE, INVITE, INVITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There will be invitations for the men to golf, bike or work out... located in the lobby.  There's also a fantastic event going on for the men on August 26th and 27th.  It's called 'Success that matters'

URGENT NEED!
Can a few of you please take one weekend to help out with the coffee cart?  You will only be responsible to help set up every 5th week or so.  We all love our coffee cart time after church....lets all pitch in to help it continue to run smoothly.  The more people that help...the less often each person needs to help!
