USHERS-Please make sure that in addition to handing out bulletins you also help people find seats. If you can, have one person stand near the media booth keeping track of places to sit. As people come in you can guide them to open seats.
You will have activity bags to give children up to the 2nd grade age (7).
GREETERS- If you see anyone that looks like they don't know where they are going (This usually happens with families that have children), help them to know that they can bring their children up to Kindergarten age over to the nursery area during service.

This weekend we will see new faces, lost faces, families coming together to celebrate their faith. For many this may be one of the only times they come to church. It might be the first time they have ever come to church.
What can WE do?
WELCOME, guide, engage, LOVE, support, encourage.
HOW?
I sent you all an e-mail with a challenge. It's the rule of three.
Three minutes after service make a conscious effort to talk to people you have never spoken to before. They could be completely new faces...or faces you have seen but never met.
ENGAGE.
So....Bring your LOVE this weekend............and give it out freely! Let's show each and every person who our loving God is and why we walk through those church doors.
After all........
It's WHY he died for US.
You are all such a wonderful group of LOVING and HELPFUL people. I know it's sometimes hard to step outside of our comfort zone and reach out to complete strangers. Let's all prayerfully ask God to work through us this weekend.
"Lord we are all your hands and feet. Please work through us this weekend to reach out to people who are looking for a connection to you. Help us to put aside any insecurities we might have with approaching and talking with people we do not know. Let us all feel you working through us, showing us that it is not in our efforts but through your will that we will reach out to the lives of others by being your disciples Lord."
