What is WNL?

WEDNESDAY NITE LITE

What is WNL?  That's a good question!  To someone who isn't familiar with our church, Wednesday Nite Lite doesn't tell them much. 

The great thing about it is...it's an intriguing title that begs for questions!  So, how can we answer questions for those new people that are curious about becoming involved and connected in the church? 

Well, simply put, WNL is a great way to connect with others in the church socially, while attending adult teachings and sharing a meal.  There's something for everyone in the family.  While the adults are connecting in a class of their choice, the kids are having fun in their very own classes.  Pre-Teens and Teens (11-14) also get a chance to connect at Epic by socializing, having fun, and hearing a message from our Youth Pastor Bobby!

In order to help you help others....I will have copies of a print out of all the classes offered Wednesday nights, at the Welcome Cart and the front desk.  If you are speaking with someone and want to give them a schedule they can walk away with, then give them one of these.  Please also encourage people to register on line for the class and for dinner.

TALENT CHALLENGE

Envelopes will be available at the information counter in the lobby, in case someone did not get theirs last week.  Make sure everyone knows that it's an envelope per person not per family.

for all your help this past Sunday passing out all the Talent Challenge envelopes.  It all went very smoothly!

This weekend there will  be tables set up outside again, with all the information people need to choose the mission they will raise their money for.

INVITATIONS TO GREET

With the help of our wonderful Communications Director Carolyn Smith, I created "Invitation Cards" to hand out to people you think would make good greeters.  They are the size of a business card and simply say "Come Greet With Me!"   I ask that we all reach out to people in our congregation who do not presently serve.  Hand them a card,  look them in the eye, smile and ask them to greet with you!  Encourage them with a positive attitude and tell them how easy it really is!

The Church office will be CLOSED on Monday for Labor Day.  I hope you all have a happy and healthy three day weekend!
