Wednesday Nite Lite has started and what a wonderful thing to see all the families and friends gather together to have dinner and take classes.
Our new WNL Dinner Director is Maria Traettino!
Welcome Maria!
Maria will be directing all the dinner festivities, to make sure everything runs smoothly.
We are presently building a group to help her make this happen. We need a few more people to make this group complete.
Kitchen Angels needed..................
Dinner Set Up: (1-2 people) Help set up the salad bar and drinks, chop veggies for salad bar, refill salad bar and drinks as needed.
Time needed: 4:30-6:30
Time needed: 6:30-7:30
Please prayerfully consider helping with these very important tasks. Our dinner ministry is so wonderful and important in nourishing not only our bellies, but our relationships as well.

Last weeks service was a touching tribute to our first responders. Thank you so much for helping to hand out gifts and make them feel welcome! They were very appreciative.

Please let people know that we are having another Exploration Brunch for people curious about what it means to be a member at UCUMC.
New Members will be joining at our services this weekend. Please say hello and welcome them if you get the chance.

Look for the Little Red Bus in the parking lot on Sunday, September 18, from 8 am to 1 pm. Photo I.D. required. Eat and drink fluids prior to donating!

- The Heart of UCUMC Auction Night
- Friday, October 21 (7–9 pm)
- Provide a tangible item worth $50 or more (Disney tickets, framed print, gift bag, athletic equipment) or an experience item worth $50 or more (a week at the beach, a personal training session, a cooking class) that can be sold to the highest bidder. (You might want to invite a business you frequent to donate an item for the auction. They will be recognized in the auction program and at the event.)
- Use your $10 talent to display your auction item.
- There will be hors d’oeuvres and live music at the event; the community will be invited to attend.
- Please make sure auction items are suitable for this “gala-type” evening.
- Sign-up to have your item included in the auction by October 14.
