In the Shelter of His Wings

Welcome Cart updates...

You will see that the blue and white information cards have been highlighted.  The only thing the visitors to the cart need to fill out is their name, address, e-mail and phone number.  The Welcome Cart is about "social interaction" and "making connections".  We want visitors to be able to talk with you, rather then spend their time filling out too much information.

We will be sending out cards to all visitors in the mail so please just check and be sure they leave their address.

Give a gift!
Sometimes people don't want chocolate..and thats ok!  Give them a key chain or a magnet!  Both these items will be kept inside the Welcome Cart.  If you are the first person at the cart either on Saturday night or Sunday morning please pull these items out and keep them on the counter of the cart to give away.

Now that the Welcome Cart is front and center we have to make sure that there is always a smiling face there, before and after each service.  If you are a Saturday night person,  can you put your smile at the cart before the service as well as after?  This also effects the Sunday 9am person as well.  Can you arrive a little bit early to greet everyone coming in before service?  This shows everyone how much we care about our visitors!

Please give our beautiful back door area some love by holding a door and welcoming everyone.  This is a busy area and many people coming through those doors are holding babies and all the stuff that come with them!  Help them out and grab a door!

Womans Prayer and Worship Night!
"In the Shelter of His Wings"
Invitations will be handed out before and after services.  There will also be invitaions available on the Welcome Cart so be sure to invite our new visitors!

Membership Class will take place at 10:15 in room M201.  Please direct people up the stairs off of the lobby.

Please remember to count everyone during each service and document it on the count sheet.  The count sheet is located in Volunteer Central.  If you have any questions please let me know.

After the offering please us the Volunteer Central door to go to the office instead of the Cry Room entrance.  This will help anyone in the Cry Room to worship undesturbed.

THANK YOU!
For all you do and all you give to this church!  You are the reason UCUMC is a wonderful family!

God Bless!
