Hello Hospitality!
As you all know, there are lot's of exciting things going on in and around the Church! We are growing, evolving and blooming in so many different directions. There are some seeds, some buds...and some flowers starting to grow right in front of our eyes!
Our Children's Ministry rooms and hallways are being transformed and updated, our FIVE family service is coming together and our Singles and Starters service is being prayerfully planned! God has been blessing all of us along the way as we have all taken part in some way to get this garden started!
God is truly allowing our seeds to grow as we all plant and water this exciting garden of growth!
My role in Hospitality will be evolving as well. I will be helping Pastor Tim as the Administrative Assistant to the FIVE service starting in September. I have been working with Pastor Tim and an enthusiastic team of people, to get things ready for the Fall.
You may have wondered what this means for the Hospitality Team! As I move over to working with Saturday night services, we will have another Hospitality Leader hired to work with Sunday services. This new person and I, will team up for larger events and needs as they come. It's exciting to see the Hospitality Ministry grow in this way!
I will keep you all posted as this transition takes place.
You can tell people about these exciting opportunities and events!

HOPE HELPS, INC
The HOPE Helps, Inc (located in Oviedo) is in need of volunteers to help with preparing welcome baskets for “Pathways to Home” program members, picking up food at donation locations, and setting up tables at community events (training provided).
VOLUNTEERS TO SORT & PRICE CLOTHING: All donated clothing needs to be examined carefully before being priced and put in our store. Sorters look for wear, stains, missing buttons, check zippers and general appearance of all garments. We only keep items that look new or are new.
VOLUNTEERS TO SORT OTHER PRODUCTS: All other donations need to be checked to make sure they are in very good condition and then priced and stocked in the store.
VOLUNTEERS TO WORK AT SPECIAL EVENTS: Usually this means being at HOPE's information table informing people about HOPE, recruiting volunteers and asking people to sign up to receive our newsletters. Other special events will be on our website and in the newsletters.
VOLUNTEERS TO WORK IN THE FOOD PANTRY: Saturdays 11-2pm to help our clients shop as they go through the food pantry.
If you are available to help in any area please contact our volunteer coordinator, Karol Ludaescher at Volunteer@HopeHelps.org.

STEP INTO BAPTISM
We’re planning an event on Saturday, August 17, for youth and adults who desire to be baptized “by immersion” (in an outdoor pool)—either for the first time or to affirm baptism as an infant. To explore this opportunity, please contact Pastor Tim at TimFarrell@ucumc.net. If baptism is a new concept for you, please plan to attend a brief meeting (date, TBA) to ask questions and learn what we believe about baptism.
If baptism is a new concept for you, please plan to attend a brief meeting on Saturday, August 10, at 6 pm or Sunday, August 11, at 11:30 am to ask questions and learn what we believe about baptism. You can r.v.s.p. your interest to TimFarrell@ucumc.net.
I hope you are all having a wonderful summer!!!!!
God Bless!
