In addition to the “in-house” opportunities listed here, we sponsor “Community Launch” days where we tackle a number of activities that benefit our neighbors--yard clean-up, distribution of event information, minor home repairs, food collections and more. CARE MINISTRY TEAM

SERVANT EVANGELISM:

Help cook and serve food during UCF football games and do other “no strings attached” outreach activities.

HOPE HELPS:

HOPE Helps, Inc., is a local non-profit with a mission to assist individuals and families in crisis and prevent homelessness in our community, by providing basic needs such as food, clothing, and other assistance through case managements. FOOD COLLECTIONS

Help us keep food and supplies in the pantry at Christ to the Nations Church (led by Pastor Jaime Faberllé). Food may be taken to CTTN at any time; on site collections at UCUMC are planned quarterly.www.christtothenationsumc.com


FAMILY PROMISE (INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK):

Through IHN, we, and other area churches, help local homeless families to have food, lodging and assistance to get back on their feet. For information about helping out at an Family Promise/IHN event.

UNITED METHODIST CHILDREN'S HOME:

When there is a fifth Sunday in the month, we collect and offering for the Florida United Methodist Children's Home in Enterprise. www.fumch.org

INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS:

This ministry matches American families with visiting Chinese students at UCF to provide hospitality and Christian love though sharing of everyday life. The entire family can participate. (No financial assistance or housing involved.)

We still have a big need for Ushers to help at the 5pm,9pm and 11pm Christmas Eve services.

We also have a large need for Greeters at the 3pm, 5pm, 9pm and the 11pm services.
