EASTER'S AROUND THE CORNER

-Let new visitors know about our services offered for easter.

In many Christian churches, the 6 weeks preceding Easter—Lent—is a time of reflection and preparation, reminiscent of the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness. Consider how these opportunities can help you prepare for the celebration of Easter.
PALM SUNDAY WEEKEND
Saturday, March 31; 6:00 pm;
Sunday, April 1; 9:00, 10:15, 11:30 am

Recalling the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem to the acclamation of the crowd (who placed palms and cloaks in his path), this service signals the start of our week of Easter observances (“Holy Week”).
Drama-enriched worship services; children’s palm processional (Sunday at 10:15)
TENEBRAE SERVICE
Thursday, April 5; 7:00 pm
Latin for “shadows,” the Tenebrae service allows us to consider the whole story of Easter, not just the “happy ending” of Jesus’ resurrection. It’s not a joyous service; it’s a recounting of the betrayal, abandonment and death of Jesus, to help us understand what Jesus’ went through on our behalf.
Meditate, take Communion and reflect on Christ’s passion and death.
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE
Friday, April 6; 12:00 noon
Take a break from work for this 30-minute service, anchored by a powerful video presentation. Soup and bread lunch provided afterwards.
EASTER CELEBRATION SERVICES
Saturday, April 7; 6:00 pm
Worship
EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE
Sunday, April 8; 6:30 am
Watch the sun rise as you celebrate the rising of God’s Son! An Easter tradition.
EASTER BREAKFAST
Sunday, April 8; starting at 7:30–9:00 am
Proceeds go to misions.
EASTER CELEBRATION SERVICES
Sunday, April 8;
Traditional Service - 9 am
Contemporary Services - 10:15 & 11:30 am

Great music, beautiful flowers—and a joyous celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. Don’t come alone!
