Holy Week is upon us!
I hope this time of Lent has brought you a peacful "knowing" of Gods love for you!
Thank you to all of you who have stepped forward to help out at the Tenebrae and Good Friday Services, in addition to your Sunday service.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Things to know
There is going to be a countdown clock on the large screen before all Easter Sunday Services in the Sanctuary.
This means that up on the screen 5 minutes before service begins, you will see this clock start to count down.
When the 5 minute countdown is finished the Sanctuary will go dark for 2 minutes.
It will be very important to make sure people do not enter the Sanctuary during the last minute or so of the countdown, because of the darkness.
Please ask them to either wait, or go to the balcony entrance.
Good Friday Service 12:00
If you will be assisting during the Good Friday Service, please make sure people are aware that there will be a simple soup and bread lunch served in the EPICenter immediately afterwords.
The Count
When doing the count for the Sanctuary it's easiest to go to the balcony and look down. Since we will most likely have a full house it will be easier to count empty seats, rather than full seats.
A final count of the number of seats we have, will be posted in Volunteer Central to help you.
These yummy treats will be our Welcome gift along with a UCUMC magnet, put together in gift bags with ribbon.
