I've created this newsletter to keep the Hospitality Team up-to-date with events and opportunities here at the church. I want this to be a fun and informative newsletter that helps you feel connected. You all give so much of your time to helping others and reaching out. It's all of you that help make UCUMC a FAMILY.

Do you all know what Launching at UCUMC is?
Launch-describes what people do as they live out the Word of God and serve… in the church, in the
community and in the world. One of my responsibilities as the Launch Coordinator is to help everyone do
this. I help people find volunteer opportunities that are right for them. I also help people "launch" into small
groups and make connections that go beyond their weekend worship.

Besides offering your time volunteering, have you launched into a small group? Small groups are people who get together to study the Bible or gather together to help each other and give "support" in a Christian setting. Some groups meet at the church and some meet at people's homes. Did you know that the church has several Bible study resources that you can use to start your own group? There are CD's and books on various topics that can be used for this purpose. You don't have to lead a group on your own! Follow the CD's and books as they help guide you along. Contact me for more information!

Sponsor our youth this week!!!
This Friday our youth at Epic will go without food for 30 hours!!! Why? To learn about hunger while raising funds to help real-life kids and serve people in our own community.
What a wonderful message to teach our youth! What a wonderful outreach to others!

Help Epic instill in our youth the Christian value of helping others by sponsoring. You can sponsor one youth with a donation that will go directly to feeding a child in need!!!!
*Every $30 they raise can help feed and care for a child for a month. The funds they raise will be used to help kids and families overcome poverty and hunger for a lifetime.
